    Best drama of 2023!! I loved it so much. And the leads are adorable. In face the entire casting was perfect. Crystal Liu is so gorgeous.

      i cried and squeed and laughed all through out this drama and didnt bothered by the superslow story development. infact, i almost didnt touch my FF button. it is THAT good. 😍😍😍

        This drama is slow burn done right. And also the OST is so good.
        There was nothing you could fault, be it writing, direction, cinematography or the location.
        And like you I didn’t touch the FF button till the end.
        One of those dramas with great rewatch value. You can randomly watch an episode on a tiring day and it will make you feel warm and cozy.

      i just found him few weeks ago when i finally given up and giving gogo squid a go (pun intended). thats actually how i found this drama 🤭. If i were starstruck of him in GGS, MYS just made me head over heals for him and pray to God to send me a Zhiyou

          GGS isnot that good. i was just so hopeless for hv nothing to watch be it k/c/tw/th dramas, or even hollywood/english one. donot bother to continue. its not worth it. not even for li xian. 🤣🤣. the 2nd season, Dt’s Appledog is evenworse tho.

    I FF’d through most of Ep 14. Chi Yeol is a math genius but dumb in real life. He has an assistant who takes care of him 24*7, but not once did he bother to check on him, his background, his family or his home🙄🙄

      Because he was self absorbed, going through his own things (which he admits to) and expected to have a assistant who does just that.

      There were several times through the series he offered to take Dong hi home and Dong hi turned it down. So Choi was trying to improve that aspect with his staff.

Mr. Assistant now looking more like a jealous bf than whatever he is supposed to be in the beginning (Protector? Sister\’s revenger?)

Also Top Score Kid : proceed to keep doing the test as if its nothing happened and get the highest score.

This show didnt go downhill in my opinion. Its go downcliff.

    I can’t believe Hae-e actually tanked the test although I expected it. I’m more shocked that despite Sun-jae’s trembling state, he finished the questions. Hae-e did what Sun-jae should have done and Sun-jae did what Hae-e should have done.

      EXACTLY. HaeE characterization at the begining is more happy go lucky one. I mean, she was never super top student to begin with, and the cheatsheetis indeed question her moral. but to be that kind of shocked is over the top. meanwhile Sunjae is the more rigid in moral one, always try to share his extra study material with HaeE. Him finished his test and didnt come clean to the homeroom teacher sounds pretty lame for me.

      HaeE finished her test, then feel bad on being the top scorer (knowing that this test is her forte and she could do well even without the cheatsheet) and end up in those distress is way more believeable.

      same goes with sunjae, he ditched his test would making more sense for his reaction. and if the writer worry about him fall from the top5, this subject isnt his forte and this is only midterm (these “facts” repeatedly said by the moms) this test would just dent his score a bit.

        Exactly. She can do well even without the cheat sheet. How the hell did she not factor that. I can be conflicted if this happens to me in an exam. But if it’s Maths, Chemistry or English Language, Maths especially, there’s no way I’ll be bothered because they are my strongest points in high school and I’ll still score high anyways.
        I’ll deal with the moral dilemma after my test – asking Sun-jae what the hell that was.

Its a bit anticlimatic. Too bad. They should made it 70mnts per episode just like other normal drama and put whatever scenes they decided to cut off. The extra 10mnts per eps round up to 120mnts = 2 of their regular episodes.

      When i watched their 1st season, i felt a very thick vibe of kdrama: be the storytelling, videographing, pretty much everything. Its just they wore less vibrant dresses and spoke in a language i somewhat understand. Thus, english saeguk. 🤣🤣
