      Netizens are claiming that he should take responsibility by quitting and saying that it’s insane of him to continue the drama amid the turmoil that involves a death. It’s indeed unfortunate for both families. 🙁

    He’s been in the industry for over a decade now and this was only his 2nd scandal (I think). Condolences to the family of the deceased as well at to the Choi’s household. I pray that God will give them strength in these hard times.

      honestly, i feel that scrapping a show that’s barely started airing just because of the faults of the lead actor would be a bit too much (especially for everyone else), but then again i get netizen’s source of anger. As much as i have adored Siwon for the past good 5 years, in view of the cctv video and Siwon and his family’s public response to the situation, i feel that the netizens anger is justified. They were lowkey trying to shirk responsibility, and didn’t show much remorse, so maybe they just felt rather disgusted to see Siwon as the jolly, all-smiles Hyuk on their screens?

    I think TvN wouldn’t care less. TvN listened to knetz and decided to rewrite Introverted Boss before, but that don’t save the rating of that drama from its downward spiral.

    the drama is already airing. its not going to happen. the least the tvn can do is to cut episode length. but i said, say goodbye to siwon comeback with SJ this Nov.

        usually male idols, there will be no big repercussions with their career. but this is SJ member we are talking about. if knetz can make a member sit out from a group comeback due to marriage, siwon fate also can be the same. and his issue is quite serious than sungmin.

          actually, i’d beg to differ. I think Siwon’s case could be easily compared to (even more serious than) TOP’s usage of drugs or Onew’s molesting or even Yoochun’s rape case? I doubt Knetz are going to let him off the hook so easily, and even if this eventually wears out over the years, i’m certain that like GD with TOP’s scandal, Siwon will always be mentioned when accidents involving animals occur.

        I’m afraid it would. Even though the family of the deceased already forgave Siwon’s family, the netizens are still not accepting what happened. It’s sad because Siwon has committed on volunteering (UNICEF) but 1 incident turned him into an ignorant, irresponsible human. Proves that people – generally – only see one’s mistakes and not the good things they have done.

          That’s true. And the fact is that mere ownership isn’t always enough to attribute liability. What are the exact facts, where did it happen, how and when – these things matter. What if it was a robber who was bitten? Without any Knowledge of the detailed facts, I can only assume that Siwon’s family is not at fault as the deceased’s family isn’t holding them accountable.

          In that situation, it’s sad that netizens are calling for him to step down.

    Yes, he’s always be this gorgeous. He was also in Night Light, that’s when I began to notice him. He’s also in Bride of Century as the idol dongsaeng with grey hair.
