What an amazing and accomplished person! I am particularly excited to see that Susan Ahn Cuddy served in the US Navy’s WAVES [Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service] during WWII, as did my Mom. SAC’s list of achievements and contributions is really something. It’s sobering to reflect that she and her Irish-American husband had to contend with the anti-miscegenation laws that were still on the books in 1947.
