In 2019, I watched Romance is a Bonus Book, and dropped it after the first episode. I didn’t find it engaging enough. FF to 2023. I finished the drama over the weekend and loved it to pieces.

I am wondering what I was thinking in 2019. Books, romance, LJS, and intelligent and mature characters– it has almost everything to give that warm feeling.

And I dream of owning those coats and sweaters (except the last episode one). I will move to a colder area just for wearing those coats and sweaters.

I think it was the bad mental space at that time. Recovery is slow from that. I wonder which other dramas would have changed for me. BTIOLF? On the way to airport? I loved them when they came but I never rewatched it.

I think I mispronounced the acronym or something.

Because this is our First Life. This along with “On the Way to Airport” are what I consider as the dramas I enjoyed the most. One made me jump on sofa and clap in joy, other made me cry and pause the show and think so many times.

I am scared to rewatch it. What if it has changed too and it is not as good? I don’t want to lose the joy it gave me. I have mostly forgotten the storyline too except I remember the red coat. That is painted on first page of one of my journals.

Sofa is a good prop in real life too. I think all my tears and laughter had been on sofa till this work from home started. Now all these are on office chair.

Happens. It took me 10 years to watch Coffee Prince. And my favorite character is the one I totally hated the first time I tried to watch the show. LOL

Coffee Prince is love. Except perhaps those stuffing your face scenes.

If I’d been forced to watch the first two episodes of RIABB, I’d have dropped it, too. But I knew the plot set-up from recaps and mostly FF’d through them (secretly living in his house and stealing his food, WHAT!?!) and once I got to ep. 3, the tone changed and I was hooked.

Itaewon Class is the one where I can’t seem to muster the right frame of mind to get through the first episode, even though my husband swears I’ll like it after that.

I haven’t watched Itaewon Class though.

Sorry posted earlier before finishing. I am wondering why I didn’t watch the show, and I think it is because I feel that it will be mostly about nitty gritties of life.
