2. Yes it is Wookie, even though people keep complaining about your drama choices like you can read the future.

So I started WOE and though 1st ep was a bit boring i decided to keep on with ep 2, which was more interesting. But then, i decided to also start Delightfully Deceitful, that is totally living up to its name of being Delightful. Also Yoon Park! Playing another quirky character which is totally how i like him. Oh dear, which ep 3 should i watch first now?

    I love this show so much, but I noticed the odd two hand donut holding, too. Quite a contrast from her more joyful feasting in prior episodes. Maybe now that she wasn’t having to sneak them they no longer tasted as good?

      Anyway i’m so conflicted abt the main pair, and the 2ML is pissing me off in advance – if he really turns out to be a bad guy. Sook is so sweet and sincere, i’d hate for her to get hurt.

    Hahaha I relate to this so hard. The amount of time I spend thinking about, researching, planning, shopping for, reading about, preparing, and eating food is honestly hilarious. Time well spent though!

    I’m shocked that this is a premise of a show (although I probably shouldn’t be)!😅 I’d be mortified if someone showed up unexpectedly on my doorstep, let alone famous people with a camera crew in tow, but the family who took them in was so calm and hospitable! It was adorable!

Woo Hyeol absolutely knew love before his 99 years and 364 days of slumber, he might not have understood but he definitely felt it. He was protective, loyal and caring, not just to fellow vamps but also to the humans around him. He trusted his instincts recognised his love even when the doppelganger tried to guilt him into choosing her. Once he knew he was in love, he always prioritised In Hae. He would never hurt anyone on purpose, in fact he even tried to save the so-called vampire hunter (i’m gonna die so you might as well drink my blood. How practical & noble)

Have you seen the vampire trio? If that’s not a brotherhood (+Rose) based on love, i don’t know what is.

So he never really needed love that makes his heart beat in the first place because he already had it all along.

    That’s right, and that’s why he totally stabbed his own self in his own HEART right there in front of the love of his life…with someone else’s dagger. He had found that he could love, and he didn’t want to live a single extra second with it.

      Ok, not quite the interpretation i was going for but it’s only been a week – i hear ya! this was a romcom, it’s supposed to have A happy ending.

      I do have some thoughts on why the ending could’ve worked, presented in a different way but i have no energy to put it in writing. And to be honest i skipped all the 2nd leads parts so i prolly missed some details too.

Wow my memories from 6 years ago, when i went out of my way looking for the 63 Building just because it was so prominent in My Girl. I can’t believe myself sometimes..and I didn’t even step foot in the building 😂

“Did you know that the 63 Building is clad in gold? From 1985 to 2003 it was the tallest building in South Korea.

But what I really want to share is that this was also where Seol Gong Chan and Joo Yoo Rin had their grand reunion (near the elevators cos that’s where all the important stuff happens!) and happily ever after ending/beginning.”

      It was fun M! I even went to JYP’s (old) building to the amusement of my friend who had no clue about k-stuff but was still game to visit Korea. I regret missing out Seoul Fortress in my list though. Need to go again if i can!

          Oops..but that’s ok! Actually i was amazed i found it considering my awful navigation skill. It was just a normal building really, i hung around for a bit hoping to spot 2PM but of course I didn’t. The Dunkin in front of the building was like a 2PM shrine, first time i ever saw such a thing 🤩

            Old was what my friend said about the building. Oooohh the famous Dunkin Donut cafe! It was like a camping spot while waiting for your idol right? and a shrine as well apparently😂

    Thanks for sharing these photos!! Building 63 was one of the drama locations I wished to visit in early days but my colleagues in Seoul kept saying it’s too old to worth a visit. So, never been there despite numerous work trips there. I visited the Coffee Prince cafe twice and still love it.

      Oh, the elevator scene towards the end of My Girl is still so vivid in my memory. That’s the spell of Kdrama!!

      Maybe because it was my first drama so it really made an impression and my fan-girl heart was absolutely set on visiting the place. Fortunately there was also (Han?) river opposite it so i got to do other stuff in the area.

    Their chemistry was really good for the first 40 minutes for me, then blahsville. I’m happy with the way the film had their relationship situated at the end though (avoiding spoilers, like it matters, but still).

    I would also like to confess here that I’m a complete fan of how PSJ now has some years on him. As he gets older, I find him way more interesting to watch on screen. This is both superficial of me (I’m admitting), but also I think he’s becoming more interesting as an actor.

    Here, it’s funniest (and this isn’t totally helping my argument, but still) when he’s clearly only barely keeping it together because everyone else is so funny. Sometimes it seems like that’s how he’s supposed to be acting (in that car scene), but sometimes, like when that one guy just runs circles around him for no reason, it’s like PSJ himself isn’t holding it in.

      I get what you mean! I discovered him in Hwarang and i find it a miracle that he made me a fan through that mess and awful hair 😂 I think he’s great but I especially like it when he gets to do comedies. Can’t wait for his drama later this year!

This week’s 2PM song pick is the very sweet & cute First Date. Is it as sweet as KTL? Probably, but i’ve not moved past ep 5 so I’m not sure. Jun Ho forgot his part for a bit, he was too focused on his dance 😁
