    I think the BBC television series that aired in the ’80s captured the essence of the books much better. Especially the spiritual/religious components. The series only went up to the Silver Chair.

    Ugh. This. And Prince Caspian. But more disappointment in this. Especially after they keep on saying “restoring the magic” on the teasers. Grrr. The cast was wasted, truly. Hoping for a better turn in the coming tv series.

      There is going to be a tv series? I honestly don’t have high expectations for anything nowadays, but for reasons I won’t get into at this point.

        Yep. I think Netflix is doing it.. So many upcoming series to look forward to. And most of them remakes of the adaptations gone bad – Chronicles of Narnia, Percy Jackson, The Last Airbender.. I heard there’s also a Lord of the Rings series coming. Kyaahhh!!! Crossing my fingers these will all be good and showing soon! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
