    I’d say some of us were pretty vocal about the racism in a recently completed drama. The first and last episode recaps will confirm this (it came up on the wall and in other places too), so will a visit to a podcast and blog linked in the last episode recaps. Is there a currently airing drams that’s an issue?

      Yeah, I was referencing that Recently Completed Drama because tabbing in I hadn’t seen people discuss it in anything other than a benign way, which is slightly confusing (and also bizarre that DB chose to cover it to the end when all the problematic elements emerged as early as episode 2) but that’s just my take seeing people complain about other romcoms and then say a whole lot of nothing about that one

    I saw lot of people had a disgusted reaction to e1 and e2, which is why i didnt bother to watch it.

      I read it when I tabbed into Episode 1 expecting DB to have an official statement about the matter. I don’t really see it as something that can be chalked up to “whoo diversity”, but I do appreciate some of her points about perhaps having some moderators on a robust site like this being helpful for discussion

        im not sure what you mean with “chalked up to whoo diversity” but English is not my first language, so i might be failing here. either way, i do wish DB had taken a stronger stance on this.

    I spoke up about it a lot on MDL and almost got threatened there for it. People complained here especially at the start but a lot of people gave up on saying anything more on the recaps after the first few episodes and frankly I can’t blame them.

      That’s what I kept telling myself. It was all weird and funny because we all know the poor man only eats once a day, and that’s when they let him, because he usually starves… and instead of letting him eat some normal food, he’s taken to a delicacy restaurant where he clearly doesn’t like anything he’s eating. I mean, his face is totally expressionless, but you could feel his dislike.
      Please, please, let the man eat a proper meal!!!

        Totally swooning here too! Since season 1. 😀 But the problem is, now I can’t see him as anything else. E.g., I tried watching A Poem A Day, and gave up very very quickly – he will always be Seo Dong-Jae the Salesman for me. Talk about owning a role.

    During the interview LJH said that Seo Dong Jae this season will have many lines and now I realized he wasn’t kidding. He said that he had a hard time memorizing it but just like what Bae Doo Na said LJH is someone who says that he didn’t study for the test but actually did study and aced the test!
