I never watched Grandpa Over Flowers before, i’ve read the recaps but i caught the new season on tv & now i have a soft spot Grandpa Baek Il Seob. I thought he was supposed to be cranky + grumpy!

    I love Baek Il Seob. He’s such a s’more (hard on the outside but soft on the inside). I haven’t seen this season yet but in the past his grumpiness seemed to stem from being the least healthy of the four so he couldn’t walk as far as the others. Also, I think he would get the most homesick. He was always showing off his grandbabies and seeking out Korean food.

      Ahhh.. I see, thanks for clarifying. I may need to watch the other seasons now. Currently he seems all marshmallowy (maybe coz its still the first day in) no hard bits at all – i hope you get to catch it soon.

        Definitely watch the other seasons. They are so good. You easily fall in love with all of them.

        Yeah, I definitely need to catch up. Where are you watching it? I haven’t looked it up yet but in the past you had to go to the depths of the internet to get it with English subs.

Ep15 of FoS broke me – i was a sobbing mess under my desk while watching it during lunch break, thankfully no one was around but someone did comment on my puffy eyes later. Lol

all the Lee Min Ki posts made me want to watch him, instead of a drama watched his 2011 movie Spellbound, such a scary cute romcom. The running gag of her ripping his shirt is never not funny.

    I watched that movie last week, and I liked it. it was 2hrs well spent. the shirt thing was funny, but yeah, not THE funniest gag out there.

shoe shopping sucks when your feet are on the small side – either they don\’t even sell your size or the designs are very limited and you\’ve got to visit other outlets. end of rant.

    Try shopping for pants ….. or skirts ….. or blouses/tops …… basically any clothing item, when you most definitely are not 5’10” tall.

    It’s a nightmare.

        Right?? It’s not anything that requires any research to figure out either. I mean, just look around, go outside, turn on the tv ….. heck, look out the window! They’d see that everyone’s not the same height or size! ….. But apparently manufacturers/designers have concluded this is either unnecessary or too difficult.

        It’s unfortunate as a consumer because all purchased items end up costing double when you factor in alterations. The alternative, of course, is looking like a fashion train wreck because if unaltered, you look like the clothes swallowed you whole. Heh!

        Sorry to hear about your shoe-shopping woes. I do hope you will find what you’re looking for soon! 🙂

      I’m 4’9″ and I have to buy my shoes from the youth section, and have to get X-Small or Small when shopping for tops and I’m a size 0 (or 2, depending on the cut) if I were to buy pants from anywhere that is not the kids section XD #thestruggleisreal

    I have the opposite but the same problem. I have large feet (my brother says I have Flinstone feet. Jerk) and this is the problem! Nothing cute! Nothing cute anywhere! I basically wear ballet flats and sneakers all the time and when people question my shoe choices I tell them they are welcome to go out into the wilds and find a cute shoe for me. I’ll hold my breath and wait.

    I just buy the shoes that come in my small feet size. Guess it’s a good thing I only like to wear sneakers and wear them till they get holes 😅

ugh. halfway through episode 3 of Return of Iljimae and i can feel my attention waning, watching youtube make up tutorials (that i\’ll never attempt to do) while it plays in the background.

    I really really wanted to watch the whole thing because javabeans has so much regard for this drama. But I just can’t bring myself to finish it. It bores the hell out of me. But I tried, really hard. Dropped it at Episode 10. Because I just can’t anymore. 😂😂😂

    I usually start with the last episode I watched. I’ve dropped a lot already and I always forget where I last watched I end up scrolling until the last scene I can remember. I learned my lesson tho, I now have a list of dramas I’m watching & dropped (with the last ep included) jic I want to pick it up again. 🙂

      before the server went down i managed to access the page and all the links they had kdrama merchandise like the goblin stuffed doll!, dramabeans bags n bottles. looked mighty interesting. i wonder what happened.
