Beanie level: Errand boy

I just can’t get it enough with these two boys excitement and glee for the red ice creams 😂 They’re so cute!

*I watched this during my lunch break, and thanks to this scene, I finally reminded of the ice cream I bought to enjoy after lunch break but forgot to put it in the fridge.. 😭😂 .. found it in my grocery bag in the car 🤣😭

The famous watermelon popsicles. Already a symbol of summer, holidays and youth, according to k-dramas.

Here we can buy the watermelon popsicles or ice cream for the whole year at the East Asian convenience stores coz we have moderate summer and super hot summer all through the year 🥵🫠😂 *right now we’re having the super hot weather till July or August

I loved how Sun-Jae chose green because he saw Sol was having it. TS was sad but didn’t protest. 😅

Knight Flower is surprisingly a joy to watch; with secret romance & no kissing, it turned out to be absolutely fantastic. This ending is enough to make me happy. Already missing them 🥹

My weekly happy show. Now I’m back to square one with nothing to watch. Maybe I’ll catch up on some old dramas.

Me too! Now my happy show has ended I think I’m going back to Live Your Own Life (the makjangness of the Kang family is purely funny to watch) and maybe Branding in Seongsu coz I have never watch Lomon before. Also still waiting for Grand Shining Hotel’s Eng sub

    Missing them also!

Jo Yeo-Hwa and Park Soo-Ho, the couple I want to protect 🤭

The “unfinished stories” at the end of each episode are oftentimes the best part! I love how he chose to ignore the Grand Merchant’s request and just follow his heart. Because our heroine is clearly following hers in every way (even ways she doesn’t quite understand yet) 🥰

I love the epilogues, too. Give me more!

Yes, I love the epilogues too! And I think ep. 7’s with loves and hearts flying around, is my favourite epilogue so far.

Yoo Ji-Hyeok has the cat house in his apartment! 😍 And seriously, he adopts the cat which killed him in his previous life!

*For now I’m going to call that orange cat as Oyen.

I screamed like a crazy fangirl when Gi-kwang appeared in the reunion. PMY is like a Cinderella & the scenes on the bridge are nicely captured. By now I totally forgot about our Clark Kent😂

Did you not know??? The other half of the reason I’m watching this! The first is for Na In-woo. 😂

    2

😂 so 50-50 for both guys?

I actually started only for Gikwang coz haven’t seen him in kdramas for many years but now I also end giving another half to NIW; never thought he has a ML’s material 🤭

Right now I’m watching episode 11 and this scene had me repeatedly click on the rewind button just to see the poster boy behind Yong-pil 😂

The best thing about being a Beanie? You also recognise The Truck of Doom in other than kdramas.

While most of my readings are manga, but I did read a few good Korean webtoon such as Noblesse. It’s a super long supernatural comic (supernatural is my favourite genre in anything from novels, movies, dramas and basically anything), I think I followed it almost 10 years and I know it is not possible to turn it into a Kdrama *sighs hopelessly*

I am heartbroken. And I guess, his family too. RIP, ahjussi 😭

I think what really got to him, was the way he was being treated especially by the police. They brought him in for three separate questioning sessions including the one happened two days ago that was 19 hours long and them spend time surveiling his house. He must have fallen into deep stress about what people were saying online and turmoil in his household because of all of these. To think that he had no support till the end 😭

I heard from my Korean friend that things got worse within his family after the audio recording between him and the allegedly bar hostess was revealed. It happened right before he went missing.

The recording leaked by the police about him related to those prostitutes ruined his image as a family man and reputation as an actor. This is a reason big enough for him to end his life. I am so sad.

Now only after his death, the police is going after the two women related to the blackmail case. I hope in death he will still get his justice.

I enjoy Ballerina because it’s also about girl-power; even the halmeoni is a badass! 😂

This Netflix movie reminds me a bit of John Wick because of the same noir background. The dancing performance in the opening of the movie could be amazing if not for a nervous ballerina; and Jun Jong-Seo is perfect as a bodyguard and a friend getting a revenge for bestie.

I wonder the hype Lee Ho-jung can create if she got more screentime and actions in Moving.

I like her character Eon-Nyeon from the beginning of Song of the Bandits. Even with big names like Nam-gil and Seohyun, i think she shines brighter than the other actress in this drama.

Pffft 😂 i can never imagine Saya being ‘more energetic’.. even Saya himself unconvinced.. sure you’re not mistaken him for Eunseom?

(Sword of Aramon ep. 5)

Sword of Aramun: the cutest scenes in episode 4 – Nosunaho and Issruv greets Saya (when he wakes up) and Saya\’s reaction 😂😂😂

I wonder what brought about a change in the Neantal’s interest toward our Igutu twins. There was a scene from from season 1 in which Eunseom comes across Issruv and Roddip. I believe Roddip realizes who Eunseom is after sniffing him, but then the two Neantals simply go their own way, leaving Eunseom behind. What is the reason behind this change in their attitude (what happened in the last eight years) ? I’ll probably have to re-watch that scene from season one, in case I am misremembering.

I do look forward to seeing how this turn of events will affect Saya.

    1
    2

Thank you for mention this. I wonder why too. Will Roddip appear in season 2?

Btw now we also know that Saya is Ragaz’s eldest twin, Geumha.

      1
      1

        You’re welcome. 🙂

I do see Roddip among the list of characters on Asianwiki, but he will be played by a different actor.

        1
        0

In 5th episode, Issruv gave Saya something which has been passed down in Ragaz’s family because he is Ragaz’s first born and Nosunaho remembered him as the eldest of the babies and being more energetic (than Eunseom I guess).

Maybe the reason of this change is because Saya is Ragaz’s first born and he supposedly inherited everything about Ragaz including his strength and heirloom. Issruz is the oldest surviving Neanthal and maybe closed to Ragaz, and they finally found the missing first born.

Now I really look forward to see the more energetic (pfft 😂) Saya and who is Ikomahis. I suspect Ikomahis is somebody related to the Neanthal who keep the other half part of the thing Issruz gave Saya.

        I appreciate your insights.

The introduction of those igutus last week creates more questions. In addition to the mystery of ikomahis, it makes one wonder how many more igutus are out there in the world and if there might be more neantals as well.

Watching these two always bring out some funny moments which is rare in this show~ Yoo han seems to enjoy getting touchy with the strait-laced Moo young 😂
