Happy birthday to Ji Chang Wook oppa! I first watched him in “Healer” and that started my love affair with Korean action dramas and with JCW! From there, I went through
• Suspicious Partners
• The K2
• Melting Me Softly
• Lovestruck in the City

Unfortunately, dropped “Backstreet Rookie” and his other shows were too long ago for me to watch (mood). “Fabricated City” is on my list, though!

Healer will always be my favorite and one of the top shows that I recommend. ♥️

Happy, happy birthday to Lee Je-hoon oppa! I first met him in “Tomorrow With You” and it just shot right up to my top 3 shows, if not my favorite. 😍

After that, I went through his filmography and watched “Where Stars Land,” “Signal,” “My Paparotti,” “Time to Hunt,” and “Taxi Driver.”

On my watchlist, “Collectors,” “Move to Heaven,” and “Hot Stove League.”

What about you? Have you seen any or all of the shows mentioned?

I also like him in Phantom Detective, Anarchist from Colony, I Can Speak, and Move to Heaven.

Right! I forgot about I Can Speak. That’s on my watchlist too. Thanks for the other titles – will check them out.

I’ve seen him in three dramas. Tomorrow With You, Signal, and Move to Heaven.

I like Tomorrow With You. Beautiful filmed, with some of the longest single takes I’ve seen. It also captured the essence of newlyweds as well.

I agree! I was just as giggly as the two leads – it was swoon from start to end. Really enjoyed the show.

Aside from “The Third Charm,” I’m also currently watching a Cdrama.

Anyone know “Eternal Love” (also known as “Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms”)? I’m currently on episode 33 of 58 and totally hooked.

I rarely watch Cdramas and this one is my fave. Ye Hua and Bai Qian forever ♥️

Me too! My first fantasy Chinese drama was “Ashes of Love” and after I got several recommendations for this, decided to check it out. I can’t wait to see how this ends!🥰

One of three shows I’m currently watching: The Third Charm. Pretty much just started but loving it so far (episode 4). What do you think of this? No spoilers please! 🙈

I really liked it. It was way more realistic that I was expecting.

Loved it to bits until ep 12 💚, then I hated it 😭
Eager to hear (read?) your thoughts about it!

Quick THE THIRD CHARM performance review: Seo Jang-joon: terrific; Esom: outstanding! It was a great cast.
So you have already seen how SKJ was a good sport early on with the braces and ‘do’.
@theintrovertbean, stay with it. TTC in NOT a rom-com, anything but. When it first aired some fans were disappointed because what they got was not what they were expecting.

(O/T. I thought that SKJ’s characters in TTC and WEATHER were somewhat similar particularly in the second half of TTC.)

Lol – I’m watching this knowing nothing about the story so interested to see how this goes. I’ve only seen SKJ in Are You Human and that led me to TTC. Yay, excited to see how this plays out.

As you continue your SKJ studies after TTC it might be a good idea to watch his dramas in chronological order: WATCHER (2019) and WEATHER (2020). Viki (US) has both dramas available subbed (along with ARE YOU HUMAN TOO? And THE THIRD CHARM).
(O/T I think I consider WATCHER the best of his dramas that I have seen. The three lead format worked great for him and (I am a fight guy) his physicality was outstanding. You get a taste of it in TTC but in WATCHER it is 5 stars.)

I like The Third Charm a lot! I watched it for Esom but hesitant about SKJ (thinking he’s only a pretty vase but I was wrong, haha). It’s not your standard romance fare but rather contemplative. It’s the kind of drama that stays with you.

I started it because of SKJ! Lol! But he and Esom are both great so far! Can’t wait to finish it.

It was widely panned when it aired because, as others in the comments were saying, it’s not what you may expect from a typical k drama but i liked it – it was well done and the cast was _fantastic_
