I just watched “The Reason I got Married” out of boredom. And OMG WTF did I just watch?! I blame HJH for this = = This was wrong on so many levels I can’t even. Shockingly disgusting.

      It’s a drama special, I watched it out of boredom and because HJH’s name was first in the description so I thought he was the main character. Anyway it was probably better that he was not. I can’t even begin to describe what irked me about this drama or movie or whatever. Wish I could unwatch it…

        Anyway, I did watch the drama special too. Hmmm…maybe you didn’t like the leads?

          No I just hated the plot and the way it portrays and treats women as if they were brainless objects needing a master to survive. Even speaking of it makes me feel sick.

There are really a lot of persimmon-trees in Seoul! On every street corner it seemed, were trees heavy with ripe persimmons. Most of them not strong enough for half grown boys to climb on though.

Watched “The Attorney”. It’s a very good movie and made me think about a lot of things. My thoughts are so garbled now that I can’t even sort them out. Even so for 5 seconds my mind was in the gutter.

Most ppl like two kinds of characters: the ones you would be like and the ones you can identify yourself with. For me Rin is the first kind and Won the second, that\’s why I\’m still feeling sad for him

TKL must be the only kdrama I\’ve watched where (except for the really childish and stupid politics, so much so I can\’t even get angry over it because it\’s not worth it) the main plot always made sense

Argh. While you are sleeping also has the unnecessary stupid moments that exist only to create tension but don\’t make sense at all and make me feel angry and dissapointed.

    I agree. I was really rolling my eyes at the last few scenes of episodes 11-12 (i.e. full length episode six). I don’t need a fashion-strut-in-the-darkness-while-I-rescue-the-damsel-in-distress moment. There were so many silly moments. And I know that certain actors fill the role of comedic relief, but the so-called comedy moments are borderline silly.

      Yes man that was the Moment. Also that None of the two thought of calling the Police or an ambulance immediately, the sister was just crying and screaming for like 3 minutes and Hongjoo tried to kill the murderer with her handbag. Come on! They had to run away anyways it’s not like they could overpower him by themselves so why not call for help? Poor policeman D:

The girl did feel kind of sorry for him but loved his biological brother. In the end Siwan\’s character died. He didn\’t have any friends or a mother though, only to a psychiatrist…

Growing up he suffered from depression and anxiety disorders, tried to kill himself as a teenager. He fell in love with a girl and tried to get to her in creepy and obsessive ways but failed.

    I didn’t watch Triangle till the end but I didn’t think his ways were all that obsessive, I mean before finding out he was rich she somewhat liked him, so his feelings wasn’t unrequited for first few episodes.
    On another note, your posts on him are spot on, I dropped Triangle because he was too pitiful to watch

So Siwan\’s role in triangle was the unloved adoptive only son of a rich and terrible person who wanted him to be his perfect heir but never showed him affection.

I still think there was no need for Rin to leave except that he wanted to. They could have put the fault on SongIn or Jeon and it would have been true. It\’s not like Won\’s own nephew wasn\’t emperor.

    But Rin’s existence is a threat to Won. Being a pure blood himself and also Won’s best friend, others would always find ways to provoke Won through him. They will use Rin to show Won’s weaknesses, which were his temper and his overprotective nature towards the ones he loves. I also think that, Rin needs to explore the world on his own rather than being Won’s shadow.

    In the end, Won’s mother was right. King cannot have friends. He can only have enemies and allies.

      If Rin tells Won that he doesn’t have to worry then there’s nobody who can make Won distrust him. Only when Rin himself wants Won to misunderstand him will he be able to provoke Won.

      Yeah but if Rin wants to leave then nobody can stop him.

      I feel so sad for Won though.

Rewatching ep 17 I still can\’t help getting extremely mad = = The writers or Rin didn\’t have a real plan in the end. WHAT was he going to achieve? We didn\’t get enough of Rin\’s thoughts.
