          It’s a summary? Of could you tell me. And I think it’s a RinSan song because Rin never said anything about his feelings. I also thought Rin was going to be sent into exile like in the novel so that’s how I interpreted the “will you promise me that you will return?” but now everything can be from Won to the two of them too haha

            It could be anything. I wonder if lyricists for drama OSTs are privy to story outcome. Fans always love to interpret lyrics and usually to their liking. The lyrics are often ambiguous enough to give room to more than one interpretation.

        I must have missed this scene while watching on tv. I really don’t have any memory of Won begging like this to the King😣 And for the earlier episodes recaps I read the recappers commentary only.

          Aww but I loved that scene:) the king told him to shut the hell up when he tried to ask him to let Rin and San free so he kneeled in front of the palace without a word from day till night, when finally the king came out BY ran after him with a coat because it was so cold outside. The picture where Won looked like he was about to cry again was when the king told him he could only choose one.

            Ok it’s weird I remember about King said to Won he could only pick one but not the part how this scene was done. Oh now I feel bad for my injustice to Won. I was too reactive to Rin’s sacrifices that it clouded my taking on Won.

            I’ve watched very few Japanese movies, and almost no doramas.

            As for BoF, I’ve only watched and read the recaps of a few of the beginning episodes of the Korean ver. very early on in my drama-watching experience, so I don’t remember too much of the actual plot etc. (I just remember the memes)

            @daydee Hana Yori Dango is one of the jdramas I keep rewatching even though it’s been more than 10 years 🙂 If you are interested, it’s goofy and over the top but also very sweet, I recommend it. There is a part one and a part two but part two is not a sequel, it’s a continuation to the end of the story since part one was filmed before the manga on which it was based had not ended yet.

      I think it’s partly true. Since the korean language still has a big chunk of vocabulary originating from the Chinese often it’s a more direct translation. However the quality of the translations themselves is not always high, sometimes there are very strange mistakes even I can hear, and I barely know any korean _(:з」∠)_

      Also, I didn’t know you know chinese.

        I probably won’t know better. I’ve been watching korean dramas for 5 years and I know like 20 Korean words? Forever envious of those who can pick up some decent Korean from watching dramas.

        I am Chinese but I think in English and speak English most of the time. It’s not apparent though as you can see from all the awful mistakes I make in my writing. Let’s just say I have no flair for languages. My command of Chinese is so poor that I will need twice the time to comprehend the subtitles.

        Such a hard decision…Hong Jong Hyun in HD but Chinese subs!
