This morning, I had a dream about a non-existent Park Seo Joon drama. In this drama, he was both a hopeless romantic and someone who believed he didn’t deserve to be loved.

    Oh, and he was a fighter too.. Like in Fight My Way. And in this non-existent drama, he grew up with a father who emotionally and verbally abused him.

Is anybody else wondering why Dramabeans isn\’t covering the sexual harassment allegations in dramaland, theater and the K-movie industry?

    There are so many and people have been removed from the stuff they were doing. I’m angry at just how many of them got away with this shit for so long 🙁 If someone has a link to a post that summarizes all of them please post it here.

      I’m actually not surprised that they got away with it. Sexual harassment is soooo prevalent.. and deeply embedded in practically every level of society and in every industry.

      Side note: All those scenes of women being physically and sexually abused and harassed and exploited in Witch’s Court, Because This Is Our First Life, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Signal.. Forest of Secrets, and so many others I can’t recall. They’re not that far from the truth.

      Really hope the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements bring about lasting change.

Really trying to like Two Cops. Jo Jung Suk is awesome and so is Kim Seon Ho.. Hyeri\’s ok but something about this show is just boring. I should give it up right?

    its sad that you are deciding to quit it… how many episodes have you watched so far ?
    though i loved it so much and one of my chingu who later wrote a brief review abt it too.

      It’s ok, I loved Two Cops a lot but one can’t make someone else love a show. Especially if the reason they give is its being boring. I myself dropped 20th century boy and girl midway because it bored me to tears. Forced myself to pick it up twice. Dropped again immediately. Thinking something boring can’t be pushed I guess.

      this is actually the 2nd time I’m trying Two Cops.. Individually, the actors are good. I’m not feeling the chemistry between Hyeri and the male leads though. The only thing that’s interesting is the Jo Jung Suk-Kim Seon Ho dynamic. And I really can’t bring myself to care about why the detective Hang Joon was murdered or Hyeri’s deal with Jo Jung Suk to get scoop on cases. I watched up to Ep 7. It’s a real struggle to get through some eps so I’m dropping it.

        sorry to you too chingu. i just wanted to help you in seeing what worked for me on 2 cops… so i was wrong thinking it could make you feel good abt it.
        i too had moments when i dropped drama (s) and could never pick up again cause they were utterly boring… so i couldn’t understand ur plight there. my bad… *mian*
