Today I wanted to share one of my favourite classical music pieces. Since Claire de Lune has already been shared, I chose Rhapsody in Blue, specifically Nodame Cantabile’s version. Hear me out now, because I know nothing about music: When I listen to this, I imagine a baseball game. The soft moments are where the batters are readying themselves, the tension palpable, and then it breaks with these vibrant flares of sound, where I imagine the players are running and the crowds are cheering! It’s one of those pieces that really makes me feel.
(I couldn’t find the right video for the short-and-sweet version I have downloaded, so here, have the original scene!)
