I have no idea. I am just having fun with these clips, they are hilarious. From the looks of it and the little I’ve read, there is no much improvement in Ga Eun’s character. If I am KSH’s fan, I’ll be so frustrated. As if the writing isn’t bad enough, the PD is making it worse. Just look at this gif, why is YSH looking like this? The direction and editing makes the actors look bad.
Honestly, she looks dumb in this show. If it’s any consolation, so do other characters 😝. Don’t get me started with Crown Prince because the show likes to show how clever he is but the effect is quite the opposite.

Gosh I’m so disappointed that I once bought the idea that some characters in this show really have a brain they can use for some intelligent plotting/ scheming.
I know what you mean. I haven’t really delve into how I really felt about the last episode but I am not the sort who love a lot of push and pull romantic scenes. Not sure if that’s the best way to describe it.
What a shame. I wonder what makes it so addictive about the child portion that I was so in love with it, every single minute of it. I love ep 5 very much, but I’m now in two mind. Part of it I guess is the back and forth of the romance, part of it is the over the top comedy at certain parts, which somehow reminds me of MSG ep 1-2. I still hope it’ll get better, because I’ll be very sad if it won’t 🙁
Are you watching MSG? I hated the first week, partly because I wasn’t expecting it to be that crazy and I never got into the original movie hype either. Now, I am enjoying whatever laughs it throws at me. But SDQ is not MSG, it’s a lot more.
Strangely, I like the balance between comedy and serious which they handled very well in the childhood portion. If I need to pin point, I’m afraid I’ll need to say it’s PMY. There’s a very slight over the top, overacting on her part when it comes to quirky parts. It comes across as contrived. Oh Yeon So can go to the extreme but that’s because the genre gives her the liberty to do it. For Chae Kyung, it’s more difficult. PMY now is no longer PMY in SKKS. Back then, she looks every inch the innocent, bright eyed, cheeky girl who dared to be different. She has matured and perhaps that hampers her portrayal now.
I’m still watching MSG. I’m just not following the conversations in the recap. I do agree with you that PMY overdid it in some scenes (the one near the spring/ river where she’s all over him and her grand entrance dressed up as a gisaeng). Somehow I like the comedic parts in the child portion much better. PSE managed to be cute and comedic without overdoing it; perhaps that’s why I love her so much.
I think it’s in part the writing for those comedic and romantic scenes too. Those in the first 4 eps have lots of hearts to it; heck even those moments in ep 5 where they first met outside their rooms were well-balanced between sadness and humour. Not so much with ep 6 where I find it more fluffy than I’d love. The wacky humour is completely fine with MSG because the show doesn’t take itself seriously; but since 7DQ does, it feels a little bit out of tune with the tone the show has set up. That’s why I said in my previous comment that I hoped the show would be back on its track soon. I love it so much I don’t ever want to be disappointed by it.

Dang, I knew it since ep 4 or so. If they ignored her by ep 6 there’d be little hope that she would get any proper attention later in the show.
