Fated to Love You understood organic conflict in its first half, and that all just went to shit in the second half. A timeskip could have worked had it been executed properly – instead, in order to become harder Mi-young sacrificed her entire personality and the plot had its wheels stuck in the mud for a good six episodes or so. Still, I think the first half redeems this drama enormously. Jang Nara, as always, is phenomenal and I adore sweet Jang Hyuk here, he really gives Geon some dimension. And the OST! Even the somewhat optimistic Morning of Canon is now nothing but melancholy in my mind because it was implemented perfectly to that effect! What a beautiful mess this show was. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, Netflix, my rewatch of Fated to Love You is over. It was just as wonderful, devastating and then dissapointing as I remember. ❤️
