When truth is stranger than fiction. This song is actually really well written. Some might find it blasphemous, but I think it helps show the point where many have reached with religion and how religion has affected them.

That’s right. I encountered a few people with different experiences – good and bad – and their approach is always interesting to me. I’m not a religious person but doesn’t completely reject the concept of religion. It’s the people using it with bad intentions that I despise.

This was so well written. I’ve recently been listening to a few Jvcki Wai songs and liking them. Hearing this makes me sad for what she went though but glad that she’s pulled through and is at a point where she can call out the BS culty religion is. I’ve seen some people in my family that were in close-to-culty religious organisations or grew up in such environments and even when they are far removed from it, I can tell the psychological impact that that has on them, even 40 years later.

I know Jvcki Wai since she joined Just Music but never checked her earlier stuff. It’s shocking to know she went through it and brave of her for overcoming and sharing this experience.

I’m sad to read you know people who are still affected by cults. It’s a problem that should be enlighted imo.
