Going on a Jpop binge. The main character of Shousetsu Ou is from a group called Generations which made me want to check it out because why not (pt1)

But that isn’t exactly why the binge started. Generations is apart of a group called Exile so they’re called Generations from Exile Tribe. & that whole thing just got me confused, because I was trying to understand if it’s a sub group of something. So I’ve just been watching a bunch of the other Exile groups just to understand. And a couple of female groups that pop up because I’m already here.

I see you got into the EXILE mess XD I listen to them and their “other groups” for years but I stayed a casual listener. They’re great because they have poeple from all ages 😀

For the strict basics, EXILE’s leader and basically god, Hiro, is the LDH label’s president. Along with the other 5 EXILE original members, they formed this company which has several boy groups and girl groups. They have the particularity to have members who are stricly performers (they’re only dancers) or strictly singers/rappers. However they can change positions if they’re in an other group. LDH owns a dance company where they train their future group members. It’s also in the acting department since the labelmates acted in the HIGH&LOW Franchise, a collaboration with a Japanese TV channel (if I’m not wrong).

The original group where all began is EXILE. Exile Tribe is the group that reunites J Soul Brothers,Sandaime J Soul Brothers, Generations, Fanatastics, Nidaime J Soul Brothers, The Rampage and Ballistik Boys.

Exile the Second, Exile the Third, Exile the Fourth, Deep and more solo acts are part of it too.

I listen more to their girl groups 🙂
Members of Dream (disbanded), Happiness and Flower came together to form E-Girls. They also go solo, as duos (Shuukaren) or trio. They recently got restructurated as E.G.Family.

Have fun with all of them XD
