I’m all for When the Devil Calls Your Name, and will go wherever it takes me – be it the fiery pit of pain or somewhere full of rainbows and kittens :3
Some of the things I like about the premiere:
– Park Sung-Woon being the Devil is ten times scarier than that CGI burning monster thing. The romantic past between his host and the CEO is shaping up to be an interesting story. His comment on how scary she seems cracks me up! Poor Devil, finally meets his match.
– I love seeing Lee El plays such a fun character, and can’t wait to see more of her and the Devil/Mo Tea Kang.
– All those descriptions that were tacked onto the drama when the first promos came out seem kinda disjointed and over the top to me at the time. But after the premiere, they make more sense. It is melancholic, it is supernatural and fantastical, there are sprinkles of mystery/thriller elements, and it’s gearing up to be a rom-com (with that co-habitation tactic!). Whew!
Hopefully, it continues to be a wacky and wonderful watch. *crossing fingers*
