It’s not even close to the sensuality and passion that characterize kdrama kisses today, but this will still go down as one of my favorite kiss scenes of all time.

I don’t know what it is about it that makes my heart hum with warmth.

Their inexperience and innocence just radiates off the screen and I think that’s what makes it so special.

Drama kisses have become so mechanical and choreographed, so when you have two rookie actors, neither of whom have mastered the art of onscreen kissing yet, you get young love in its most raw and natural form.

I’ve never seen a kiss where both actors are equally naive to the kdrama kissing business. Usually the rookie of the two (mostly female) will be paired with an older or more experienced partner who knows what he’s doing and will take on more of the weight (e.g. every single actor paired with Kim So Hyun *no shade intended*)

Although I know Rowoon has kissed on-screen before, he still wasn’t experienced enough to completely take the reins on this one. They both pulled their weight equally and evidently gave it their best. The outcome, although imperfect, was nothing short of organic and heartwarming.

GAH, just look at my wittle babies. So precious.
