KBS replaces Love Letter with Lee Hana’s Peppermint

Yoon Do-hyun’s Love Letter is going off the air, but KBS is looking to fill the void with a new program, a live broadcast show to be hosted by Lee Hana (Women in the Sun). (Lee’s management explained that they are considering accepting the offer, and will make a final decision early in the week.)

The new show is operating under the tentative name Lee Hana’s Peppermint. (After Kim Jung-eun’s Chocolate, what’s with all these dessert-themed programs?) In fact, already comparisons are being made to Kim Jung-eun’s talk show on SBS, which is performing “better than expectations,” and the two actress-led live broadcasts are headed for a showdown. (Maybe, probably.)

In other news, Lee Hana is also taking the radio mic with a new segment in the Saturday program “Lee Juck’s Ten Ten Club” on SBS Power FM, which will feature listener requests for memorable oldies. She’d appeared on Lee Juck’s radio program on August 14 and performed her own song live, signing and playing the piano herself. She followed that performance with another of her self-penned songs last month on Yoon Do-hyun’s Love Letter, and said, “My desire to be a singer keeps growing.”

OMG.!
that just totally ruined my plan of going to YDH love letter when visiting korea,,, (like i read here, how to do so.)

I LOVE YDHLL!!!! wth... -_____-;;; and seriously i wish the companies would stop "taking" ideas from another broadcasting network's show just because they are doing well.... there.....

why don't they get that if its doing well... it means the show is doing well because its THERE,,, that does not mean that they should start making another show like it at their place... ---- it just ruins it....

gahhhhhhhhh.... im just really annoyed at this news... please don't mind my ranting.. --_____--.....

This desert-theme talk show is pretty cool idea! Anybody up for Kang Ji Hwan's Banana Split!!

Love Lee Hana, but I think she's biting off more than she can chew. When she's on the variety circuit promotion, she can seem really nervous and get into these giggly fits that's a little painful to watch.

I didn't really think much of her until I saw Me Ri, Dae Gu's Attack and Defense Battle. That is one quirky and funny series :) It's almost like a j-drama!

And Ji Hyun Woo is really hot in it! (but his hair did bug me...)

Good Luck to Lee Ha Na.

but how i wish KBS will think of something a more unique name for LHN's show. if they will use "LHN's Peppermint" i wonder what concept do they have in mind that will be associated with peppermint. KJE's Chocolate is based on the character of (almost) everybody's favorite...the Chocolate. KJE's show is doing better than expected because of KJE's warmth personality as a host.

i was never into music talk show, not until KJE's Chocolate started, and i know how KJE was really honored to have Yoon Do Hyun as her guests in the 5th episode of Chocolate.

aww that's so sad Love Letter is gonna be off the air. i always hoped i'd be able to see the show live someday. that show always allowed artists to showcase some amazing sets.
