Those faces are pretty much the ones we’ve been making over the past week, with our site experiencing some unexpected downtime and crashing in the middle of the night while we’ve been trying to write/post/procrastinate on year-end reviews. You may have noticed. We’ve been working with our hosts to fix the errors, but sadly that took longer than we’d hoped.
We’ll be making some necessary site upgrades today, which should happen without the site going down, hopefully without you noticing. In the case you DO notice, we’re sorry in advance for the inconvenience and promise we’ll be back online asap. After the updates are made, there will be a brief window where you should be able to see posts but not make new comments until the move is fully complete.
Thanks to those of you who wrote in to alert us to problems when the site went down; twitter is a good way to do that (@dramabeans, also @javabeans and @girlfriday_db), or email at hello [at] dramabeans.com. Let’s cross our fingers that we’ll be back up in no time and performing smoother than ever.

What a coincidence. I'd just solved my several-days-old network problem with my ISP.
Internet problems are so... ARRRRGHHHHH!!!!!!! And it's always sobering to be reminded how tethered we are to the internet now.

Oh no. The Dramabeans site going down? I swear, it's been that kind of week. Over here where I'm at, one thing after another has decided to either break down or shut down completely.
I'm confident about Dramabeans though.

Can I make a tiny suggestion - that the shows under the Currently Airing column on the right have hyperlinks to the posts tagged with the show? That would be a nice touch because I search for those tags a lot.
