There is a “rain or shine”?? Man, that annoys me even more. But “Just Between Lovers” kind of doesn’t do the title justice either.

“Rain or Shine” is one of its English titles. If I remember correctly,OSTs in iTunes are listed under this title.

I warmed up to “Just Between Lovers” as a title after reading one of JunHo’s interview translation where he explained

“My character often says the word ‘just’ and I understand him. It’s just life, we just live, there aren’t any other reasons,” he said.

“I hope that the drama can comfort the survivors of any accident by showing how the characters in the drama ‘just’ live their lives.”

I mean, I’m not up in a snit about it, but… yeah. Translating titles is funny business. I explained a bit more in my recap.

I agree with JunHo that the word “Just” is very apt in the title and appears in both the English and Korean title and man, I love his explanation too. It’s the other parts of it that, hmm, maybe it could have been translated this way too?

English translations of dramas sometimes miss out in capturing the feelings/emotions of its Korean title
