Oh show, you actually got me to check out a saguek after being so traumatised by Mr. Queen (I’m so not watching Joseon Exorcist since its the same writer) thanks to my interest in seeing Na In Woo in a nice role. And yet I see so many of the same saguek tropes repeated here (fight for the throne, childhood trauma + bonus amnesia, obsessive second leads) that I’ve pretty much lost all drive to continue the show.
It’s such a pity since I also found out that one of my favourite supporting actors Kim Dong Young (Ye Jun from Run On!) is also earning his pay here (they don’t need to give up their pay, just mail all the checks to that bully).
I guess I’ll still see some highlights to gauge how hyped I’ll be for a future Na In Woo drama but yeah he’s not enough to get me to sit through this story.
same. I dropped it after watching episode 2. After reading episode 1 here, I wanted to watch the next episode. But even my curiosity could not motivate me to watch further. Nothing new about the drama
