Seo-hyun is caught stealing her parents’ toothbrush for a DNA test. She confesses that she wants to confirm if she’s their real daughter because they’re treating Ji-soo (Seo Eun-soo) more gently than her. Myung-hee (Na Young-hee) explains that Ji-soo is different, but Ji-soo arrives to spell it out: Ji-soo is inferior and wasn’t welcomed the same way as Ji-an. She acknowledges that she’s lacking and bitterly apologizes for not being the perfect daughter they wanted.

Seo Hyun has been quietly breaking the rules behind Mom and Dad's back. I can't wait to see her do it to their face.

As for Mom and Dad, when are they going to wake up and put their family before Haesung Corp? How long is Dad going to just sit there and take whatever Grandpa orders? Wasn't losing his son enough?

Me too, I keep waiting for Dad to crack. Grandpa is such an ass though, every time Dad tries to speak up, he blames what's happening to the kids to Dad's "bad parenting".

And this scene is so unfair to Seo-hyun. They didn't even properly apologize for forgetting her graduation recital. They went straight on to scolding her.

I think the message is, "We brought you up to be perfect, so you SHOULD be invisible. And your feelings should be invisible too. We don't need to waste time thinking about you when there are so many more important things going on. Just go on being perfect and living quietly in the corner."

LOL OMG you nailed it.

"But why are you complaining? You're already a perfect little doll. Now sit down while we work on turning your unni into a perfect doll too."

I have a tub of popcorn labeled "When Haesung finds out Seo-hyun ran away with Ji-ho", I can't wait to eat it.

Yes!! I'm thinking she's going to show up on his doorstep some night and refuse to go home. Because however much he is being a jerk now, he's the only one she really trusts.
