I was honestly expecting better from Geun Soo. I thought he’d broken away from the pettily villainous family ways. I thought he was enlightened with empathy. His journey to the dark side honestly felt really forced and I just… why would he honestly do that to Hyun Yi? It makes no sense! He spent his entire life running away from his Dad and it took him a split second to succumb to the dark side…is this bad writing, bad character development, or something else?
I think it may be a combination of bad writing, bad character development, AND not as great acting. He isnt a horrible actor but there were a few times where I wondered what he was trying to convey in a few scenes
