Kingdom Season 2: Running commentary: (because running is such a big part of the show)

Despite all the running around and the expensive zombie makeup, story didn’t have much of the things I liked in favorite kdramas like QIHM & YFAS. And the closing credits feel longer than the episodes. Still, better than season 1.

Ep 1 – reminded me of the annoying old TV ad “HeadOn. Apply directly to the forehead.”

Ep 2 – great twist at the end.

Ep 3 – in the opening scene it looks like high-end Japanese style helmets might help stop zombies from biting the neck, at least from the sides or back. Probably also work against vampires. Did Japanese know something Korans didn’t?

King’s bodyguard: never trust a “supporting” character who has someone to support. Especially if the supported one is vulnerable because of being sick, pregnant, in need of a job, very young or very old, which together cover 99.99% of people who need support.

Ep 4 – so the plague is a worm, not a virus? To a computer person, that’s not good news, but I guess it’s good news for a self-isolating human.

Ep 5 – consuming the whole world’s complete supply of fake blood.

Ep 6 – typical horror movie ending. Better than a typical Netflixified kdrama ending.
