Huh, so I was right. Strongest Deliveryman is just about a dude starting Postmates. So why all the stupid drama at the start with the coma and prison and whatnot? Such a waste of story time.

So the middle episodes had me thinking the same thing! But I felt like the last two episodes hearkened back to the first two episodes in depicting human nature. There’s only so much we can take sometimes, and it really does help to have people by your side to get you through the tough times. The easy way out comes in may forms, even for people who seem strong willed and ‘principled.’ The coma and prison stuff were pretty much just plot devices.

Agree that the last two episodes were going back to the human nature aspect of the show, which I liked. I just felt like everything that happened over these two weeks wasn’t really emotionally earned because the stuff that dragged earlier could have taken half as much story time to accomplish the same plot goals, leaving this heavy emotional stuff and business plot with not enough time in the story to pack the punch it should’ve.
