I did not expect the battle of the bands to happen this quickly. Did she really expect to be able to win though? Most young people will prefer modern music to traditional music and his band already has lots of fans. Even if her string hadn’t broken, they still would’ve lost.
Also, who stops playing just because a string breaks?!? Just play as best as you can without that string.
In the beginning I don’t think she really thought she was going to win. I thought that what she and Lee Shin were planning on doing was something much, much smaller than what happened and was supposed to be about the music and not the popularity (since they had both snarked at each other: I don’t feel anything when you play!) but it got blown up.
If they were going to go by what they were planning originally I think Gyu Won would have won—Lee Shin was definitely feeling feels during her performance.
