Sound design can totally make or break how much I enjoy a show. Watching so many kdramas has made the laugh track seem more foreign to me than the sometimes over-the-top sound effects added to dramas. I long ago stopped watching The Big Bang Theory, but my family still watches. When I catch a random episode and hear the laughter, I feel like I traveled back in time to days of yore!
Those noises! No matter, how many times I hear them and resolve not to laugh, I burst out laughing. Even when the scene is not so funny, those sheep noises or goat bleating(still get confused) are GOLD!

I know some people think the Answer Me sheep noises are annoying but I LOVE THEM

I love the creative way that K-dramas use sound effects. Much better than a laugh track.
I can’t believe some US shows still use laugh tracks.
