AYHT 31-32 I am a very content puppy. A few kisses away from perfection, but I’m sure we’ll get there next week. The verdict for my existential struggle: love the writer for ever and ever.

Ohh? I was considering postponing my viewing until tomorrow – I’m still processing on high doh from last night’s episode – but contentment? Is more good?

Ah, I don’t have access to Dramafever (I’m on the other side of the world), so I usually wait for it to be uploaded on other sites

I’m watching DF with a VPN (pretending to be in the States)

Are subs out quickly on DF? I may have to go the VPN route for finale week – the wait is killing me! I still have house chores left to do, so hopefully, it’ll be up by the time I’m done – then I can relax with a nice big cuppa and enjoy roboshin’s smiles. ^^

@namedx the AYHT subs are out super-fast. They came out roughly 1.5h ago.

    Some actual thoughts:
    1) unsure of himself robo Shin was hurting my heart so I am delighted that YH’s strategy is also identity-reaffirming for his new puppy donsaeng (i knew that it was going to happen eventually, and when YH threw back the ‘you’re a good person’ and we should be friends; love it all to bits).
    2) SB is or course right that both gramps and mean Shin (compliments to kiddo for that one) are bad people. One committed his son just to make sure he keeps his mouth shut, the other was seconds away from killing people on multiple occasions. Still I can’t manage to hate either. Dir. Seo is the only one who actually killed someone and thus stepped into completely unforgivable territory but everyone else is still redeemable. Gramps is by now just pathetic and Shin can grow into a decent human being if he only would give himself the chance.
    3) it’s ironic that it took a complete betrayal from his most cherished person to potentially kick that chance into gear. It may get worse before it gets better though.
    4) He claims he hates his gramps but then the first thing he does after taking over is job is to start off the project that was gramps’ dream (that he was hoping the other Shin to accomplish). Deny it as much as he likes, Shin still wants his grandfather’s approval somewhere underneath it all.
    5) Puppies being adorable: SB is superwoman. love her to bits.
    6) everybody loving Shinnamon for who he fills my heart with joy
    7) he does not need to get control of the company to do a lot of good all round (a benevolent god as his name suggested)
    8) the existence of the kill switch is a huge rock on my heart. i wish they never made that horrid thing. it would by this point be way too cruel to use it given all they all went through (trusting the writer til the end).
    9) please end on a high note

I’m so happy So Bong clearly said they were both terrible, as it is true and I don’t want the show to shy away from it. I do find Grandpa irredeemable, but I guess with the power to hurt others removed the greatest punishment for someone like Grandpa is being himself, and the big rescue for NS would be saving him from becoming someone like that.

The kill switch worries me so deeply. I was so worried for NS3 last episode, and now this episode calmed me… so what will the next episode bring….?

I’m worried about the server room and about the kill switch!

I’m pretty sure ordering other people to kill someone makes you irredeemable. Gramps took out Snake and I think a few others.

I love writers who give us a story we never even knew we wanted. I have no idea where this is all leading but I will follow it till the end.

This! I agree with you a thousand times.

And the fact that it’s pre-produced means that it’s the story the writer actually wanted to tell, not the one they’re forced to tell because of public opinion.
