Beanie level: Eunuch in drag

10 eps in, Woo-hak is still the bees knees – not into shipping, I’m just loving N’s nuanced portrayal of him. Like Chae Jong Hyeop, but his acting is still a tad bit too green. He’ll get there!

Also, who knew seagulls could make a person cry ugly tears – I mean, what an end to the episode. She…ate…the…eggs.

    Don’t get me started.
Although, in the novel Treasure Island, Ben Gunn asked God for forgiveness for killing the goats he ate. He also ate oysters and berries.
Gunn was marooned for a mere 3 years compared to Mok-ha’s 15. His clothes were rags, his weapon of choice was a spear.
Mom-ha would have eaten bird eggs, turtle eggs, turtles, fish, lizards, whatever root or fruit. I don’t think she was tropical enough for coconuts🥥 which is too bad, as coconuts are so useful for eating , fibre to weave or wood .
Without some excellent bush skills , assuming she did not have access to tools, Mok-ha wouldn’t have lasted 15 days, let alone 15 years. 🙄 You would literally be tossed into a hunter gatherer lifestyle. Otzi the Iceman’s Island Adventure. A good axe or sword, a knife of any sort , or spear would be so valuable to you. You would not be without it.

There are too many areas of confusion with this island life. Case in point; the one wild boar appearing on the island, and her having the equipment and time to dig the deep hole for it to fall into without it appearing and attacking her just didn’t make sense.

At some stage I’m starting to doubt those timely placed island flashbacks, which apparently are twisted for convenience.
Those Ran-joo flash-forwards aren’t helping either. It is all pretty weird and inconsistent.
Park Eun-bin despite those Attorney Woo mannerisms, Chae Jong Hyeop because of that dazzling smile and Cha Hak Yeon gobbling persimmons are the only things keeping me watching.
Also the fact that Mok-ha promise to leave that fabled buffet in Jeju to come and eat with Woo-hak.
But this gull’s story has me doubting that promise.

So, BG is Ki-ho! Episode 6 & 7 have finally confirmed it for me. But damn the SLS will be good in this one with Woo Hak’s outspoken persona and Bo-Geol upping the ante with his dashing smiles! 😀

Ok, so still no idea which brother is Ki Ho, but if it had to be one of them, I sure hope it’s Woo Hak because Cha Hak-yeon is nailing this role! Park Eun Bin, as expected, is sensational in her role!

The emphasis on WY’s social and emotional awareness this episode is where this show shines. Minor niggles aside, writers have done well with the pacing of this show and have only to end it well! 🙏

Ep15 Att Woo – balled my eyes out this ep. Tho I ❤ Jun-ho and Woo-young romance, show has done well to keep the focus on WY and her emotional trajectory, both as a lawyer, and as a person with autism

I was a little apprehensive after ep14 of Att Woo, but having watched ep15 (which I absolutely loved), I have full faith in the writers that show will end well with the potential of a season 2…

WY staring at JH through the window was legit horror film worthy, lol ’twas both hilarious and adorable at the same time. His reaction to her staring tho, ❤️❤️❤️.

Att Woo – what a phenomenal actress. You can see, even in her fleeting expressions, the exact moment she musters up the courage to take initiative and get closer to JH. What a delightful scene!

    YES IT IS

It took me two months to watch it all (I was watching in a group), so I’m impressed by your two weeks.

    Favorite character/moment?

I think I’ve listened to the epic OSTs the most since finishing it ~

I missed the chance to watch it the year it aired, so it’s been on my list for quite some time. So glad it popped up on Netflix – ropes me into binge watching mode every time!

Yeh, I dunno how I managed it in two weeks either, but it was that gripping from start to finish. Ahh so many favourite moments – wouldn’t know where to begin! The badass fight scenes, ddangsae, Musa Moohyul and his epic roars, the darkness surrounding Bang-won, the heart wrenching and haunting soundtrack “the song of Chungsan”, the rocky background score to moohyul’s fight scenes, the ideological battles, the growing pains – ahh it was all so good!! So glad it was made as a prequel to Tree…they really did it justice!

    Outstanding drama!

It really is!! I was actually gutted when it ended – you’d think 50eps would have the opposite effect. I would have gladly sat through another 50 eps if they retained the spotlight on all six of the dragons

My sentiments exactly!! I’ve also stated before that I gladly would’ve sat through another 50 episodes. I don’t usually say that, but for this one, definitely!! It was just fantastic from beginning to end.

My Strange Hero is an interesting watch, and I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more had they made the female lead a little more..sympathetic?? I\’m sure it wasn\’t intentional but she comes across more like a second lead who\’s been scorned. At this rate, I\’m going to struggle to see why the two should end up together. Can\’t he just get his revenge and walk away with heroic flair, his cape flapping behind him?!

That’s the reason I’m skipping this one. :S Jo Bo Ah comes off as a shrewd, always scheming type of lady and maybe she’s up for redemption later on, but I just can’t deal with these type of heroines.

YSH and KDY are my OTP, to be honest. I feel way more chemistry between those 2!
