I used to be a huge General Hospital fan. A site I’d visit for recaps had a review of Fated to Love You.

A year or so later I finally watched part of it on YouTube. His laugh had stayed on my mind. I then stumbled upon this place and decided to take a gamble and bought Coffee Prince. I loved it. But it wasn’t until last summer when I entered a horrible reading slump that they became a regular part of my life. I subscribed to DF and devoured Boys Over Flowers, Secret Garden, Kim Sam Soon, I Can Hear Your Voice, and so on. The set up and pacing reminded me so much of books. Then I saw that a Drama called Because This Life is My First was coming out. I subscribed to Vicki because for some reason I decided I had to watch it live. It was the first drama I watched live. Now they are just a daily part of my life, lol.

This is true for me too. It wasn’t until I ran out of books to invest my time in that I gave Saya’s (increasingly manic) recommendations of kdramas a chance. XD

Filipino subbed Autumn in My Heart aired on our local channel, saw Won Bin,got mesmerized and tried a few other kdramas after that. And then I saw Junki Oppa in My Girl and never watched any local dramas since then

I was tired of US tv and out of good British shows when I stumbled on a subbed K-drama. I recorded them until I discovered Dramabeans, Viki and Dramafever.
