Staff #1: I’m thinking Korean National Animal
Staff #2: More CGI, Color spill
Staff #3: *back from a sale* guys I just saw an inflatable man at the supermarket!
Team lead: good! keep going
Staff #4: I was thinking kaleidoscope
Staff #5: Attack on (Titan)Bangtan!
Staff #6: Traditional Korean outfit, music, etc.
Staff #7: *pauses Bon Voyage S2* how about a shark cage?

The narrator in her room watching Idol: *holding on to pillow for dear life* My eyes! @.@ My head is
spinning. I’m feeling dizzy. Great music! *jams to it* awesome lyrics! *but I think I can’t see for a few
seconds* halp!

Idol felt like an anthem song, actually
reminiscent of Not Today from YNWA, the repackaged album of Wings.
After the first listen I felt that
a. it’s a confidence boosting, celebration of self-love song 💃 🕺
b. it can act as a great opening to their upcoming world tour concerts just like NT was during their
Wings tours. Although it’s not my fav song yet but I could see it’s potential to hype the audience
during a concert, an excellent opening choice.And it actually happened :O Their world tour concert
starting from Seoul did have Idol as the opening. Rest assured it’s gonna be the Armys’ anthem for
a long time now.๐ฅ

Lyrics are pretty direct, the message is wide & clear. *No one can stop me from loving myself, I’m
right here & I’m doing just fine*
From the order of the song list in the album, it is pretty clear that the mood has shifted from sad
to swag now.😎 It seems to be the penultimate stage of the LY series conclusion. (the order of
songs really is significant y’all)

Conlusion: I’m a ballad person really, it needs some energy which this fatcat lacks. So it’ll take some time
getting used to. But it’s awesome nonetheless

[PS. It seems that line distribution is…..back to square one. Both the sub vocals barely have any lines,
Jin has 14 sec, most of which is “oh oh ooooh”. *sigh* one of these days I’ll throw a real mop at BigHit 🐍]
Actually I do not have too many more thoughts. I just realised that I’ve grown to love this song. Like I really love it. Everytime it comes on, I feel so happy. And I’m reminded of my vacation in Goa. ๐
