And, I finally finished ’Chicago Typewriter’. For some strange reason I had watched till Ep 13 and did not finish it. Finally completed it.
Really liked this show. Am already a big fan of ‘Yoo Ah-In’ and absolutely loved him in this show. (I still think Secret Affair is one of his finest performances).

Like all beanies, am totally in love with his looks from the pre-independence era. Loved the artwork, the set, the production etc of the pre-independence era.
And how gorgeous was the present-day-writers room!

Also, I liked the reference to time/memory which was done with a shot of the Dali’s clock from ‘Persistence of Memory’ (in the first episode).

I found the last few episodes hard going as well. Overall I have a positive impression of the show i.e. I really enjoyed it. But I found the last two episodes were repetitive and even a little boring – providing us with little new information.

The present day was a bit stretched and looked like they weren’t sure how to wrap it up. But I did enjoy her revenge in the past. I did not expect her to execute all traitors and go on a rampage in the carpet diem bar.

I loved this show. YAI didn’t hurt either. The portions that took part in the past were my favorite.

yes! that was very well done. They really transported us to a different era. I have only watched Korean modern shows or the sageuk shows – this was the only one I have seen in this time period (Japanese rule).
