This show has woken me up from my comments section lurker status. Hahaha. Kudos to you, MotA and production team!
Seriously, how amazing is this show?!? And how heartbreaking??? I grieve for our beloved Secretary Seo. His character arc is one of the ones I loved in this show. He’s come so far from his drunk semi-reliable character from the pilot episode to this endearing, responsible assistant and friend to JinWoo. And I hate to say this but I kinda understood why he had to die. Only his NPC could somehow manage to defeat the impossible fights in that quest and had he survived to accompany JW, he’d probably still have died what with the difficulty level. I can only hope that by the end of this all, if they manage to actually finish and win the game, that the show will pull a Jumanji and bring back time to when everyone was still alive and everything is normal. *crossing fingers*
I was really more affected than I thought I’d be with Sec Seo’s passing as well. Hyun Bin is to blame. When he is slowly realizing what has happened and the tears. I cried along with him.
