I’m kinda confused with the timeline. The JJY case was from 2015-16? There was a scandal back in 2016 or 17(can’t recall)..so this is a rehash of that? But bigger? With more names involved? The previous scandal I didn’t look much into, but since 1n2ds members were willing and rooting for his return at that time, I just assumed it was a misunderstanding of some sort.

But the current news is just on another level. His new airport arrival videos was….😱

Yes I saw it on SBS the arrival video:
I don’t know what is the timeline for JJY case, but the BB Seungri case where he is supplying prostitutes is said to be from 2015. (That’s the date of messages)
And yes there was a scandal with JJY ex-gf back in 2016-17 about a same issue of recording videos without consent.

What’s with his arrival video? I am just disgusted by everything so i want to avoid seeing it but is there anything special about it?

This messages that was revealed to public are from this time, at that time his former gf accused him of spreading her video without her consent, but she got scared of reaction from public and didn’t pursue it, and was even forced to apologize, he claimed it was all misunderstand, all was consensual, and he deleted the file as asked, at the same time period Seungri was looking for investor in his business ventures, and commented on this in another chat, which JJY was part of, when BS assault case become news, guy who repaired JJY phone recover/found this chats logs, connected the dots, copied the data and send them to Anticorruption Comission and media separately.

Ah I was gonna answer but someone else did. JJY was accused by his ex gf then but this is a separate incident involving MORE women and illegal acts.

Koreaboo has it wrong, this guy is not the one who reported on Burning Sun, it was tv program that broke this story. This man clarified this on his Instagram account (now entirely deleted), he works on a story on Gangnam clubs but nothing was published yet. None of the original reporters commented on this cases being part of some bigger conspiracy, they just said they still factchecking and collecting stories and will be reporting accordingly. Going through all KKT messages will take some time, they are more than 60000 of them, spanning through years and involving numbers of people.
I see a lot of news on forums based on some unconfirmed tweets from “Koreans” or other SNS posts, since we mostly don’t read Korean it hard to recognize what it’s real news and what’s just gossip.

I am a bit confused, what do you want to say?
What I wanted to say was that there is a lot more to come as well as some reporters claim that they have more evidence. And Koreaboo is not saying this broke the news but that he reported on it! But maybe they edited the article, I don’t know. I don’t trust the translated versions for the news, so I try to follow up from Korean sites and no, it makes no sense to collect tweets and translate them, I agree with you.

Sorry, I was in hurry and wasn’t clear, but I saw news of more serious things to come on many different platforms, based only on this reporter instagram post, and the only english source being reddit translation of it, but now this instagram post is deleted and with no other follow up I think it’s on par with tweets by random people.
here the original reddit translation: https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/azrkgu/masterpost_40_seungri_announces_retirement_from/eiaotar/?context=3
So only based on this post, many people are being dismissive of the hidden camera issues and Seungri involvment, because there is even bigger scandal behind the corner. Of course I’m might be wrong because there is flurry of new information every moment.

That’s so wrong! It’s like the classic plot of using a bigger scandal to cover another scandal.

Yes, and it’s like they try to use scandal that didn’t even happened to cover for this, but honestly, now when we have chat log where they openly admit to raping this poor women, what can be bigger?
P.S. I forgot to mention that I tried to google this two reporters mentioned and came with nothing, same with media outlet, it only comes on list of Korean media outlets without further info. I don’t know what make out of it, but they don’t look like reputable source.

Yeah, its not a big newspaper and definitely not to base any real news/decisions on.

I seriously want to keep up with the news because it is satisfyinh to see all these jerks and hypocrites uncovered. But after reading the messages, I am extremely disgusted. Plus I just read them on soompi which might have given a softer translation of the actual message. And yes much is already lost in translation. I just hope there is justice for the victims. They must be suffering a lot rn. Not to mention the judges who end up asking hedious questions like one recently did in a JTBC show.
