In episode 12, they played Jenga and she had a block that said to make a wish and he said he would fulfill it, but she couldn’t think of one, so they pinky sweared that she would save it and ask for her wish later.
Agree, this time I wasn’t frustrated by the situation, but felt their pain, and I was glad for this.
Actually, for the first part of the drama, I didn’t care about other characters, but then Choi and Dan grew on me, and now I find them hilarious and look forward to their scenes.
I makes sense how and why it was applied as a plot device, but it’s still stupid how it happened. It was the easy way to get what needed to be done in 16 episodes. Argh.
I agree, it was a stupid reason and he was a perfect noble idiot, but this time I wasn’t annoyed or irritated by the situation (it’s the first time, sometimes I got really mad), probably thanks to LDW’s performance, it seemed that JR didn’t have air to breath and I could feel his pain. And then, alleluja, his friend pratically told him that he was a stupid, above all because because he didn’t speak clearly with Yoon Seo.

His friend is the one person who has spoken the truth throughout. Maybe he is the ‘greek chorus’ for this show – explaining everything as it happens.
