Um…so I finished THE LIGHT IN YOUR EYES. The tag “melo” should be added to it to warn viewers. I liked the twist, but I’d to have to watch it again to make sense of everything, and it’s too sad and depressing for me to watch again.

I watched this show kinda backwards. I started this a couple of weeks ago. As I was watching, I was really confused and got impatient with the pacing. I ended up reading Mary’s recap and then went back to watch it, but backwards. From 11, then went back to 7-10. Then finished it with the help of FF. The actors were great but I think it wasn’t my cup of tea. I did appreciate NJH’s acting in this though. Maybe slice of life dramas are more his thing rather than that not so good Bride of The Water God.

I think this is one drama where going in with spoilers would have helped. I stuck to my “no spoilers” policy so I only read mary’s recap after I had watched ep. 10. Until then I was confused about the story and impatient with the pace.
Yes, the actors were great. NJH has improved a lot. It was a good role for him.

I agree. The first 4 episodes were too boring. I have a “try the first 4 episodes” policy and I definitely wouldn’t have continued if I hadn’t seen the Beanies’ shocked reactions on the fanwalls. I wasn’t spoiled but I was curious enough to continue. There should have been an inkling of mystery, hint of things not adding up, SOMETHING, to grip the viewer, but there wasn’t.

And I agree about NJH. Actually I believe most of these young actors are much better in quieter roles than when they try to act too cool.
