Haven’t seen a Cdrama in almost 3 years, but for Wallace Huo, I’ll endure the dubbing.

Turns out The Great Craftsman is a remake of Giant. Even better because Giant was a masterpiece.

Is this a new show? I never thought it will be so challenging to keep up with what’s new in Cdramaland.

Yeah, just aired a few episodes in China. No international streams yet. Here’s an English synopsis, as no trailers have been subbed. https://youtu.be/r6zKQ-4WEpg

I’m sure some platform will stream it eventually because the leads are huge in China.

Thanks, I can see 4 eps uploaded. The sets look beautiful as with many cdrama period drama these days.

About the dubbing, they should get rid of it fast. I’ve watched a couple without dubbing and they work perfectly fine. Much better actually.

Unfortunately they will always dub Wallace because his Taiwanese accent is not favorable to general audience.

I’m probably the last creature on earth to know that Wallace is Taiwanese!

Yea, Wallace Huo, William Chan, Mark Chao (now that he’s returning to television and moving to the Mainland China market…. Still waiting for the Chinese version of “Misaeng” to begin airing!!), and Wallace Chung are male actors who will most likely always be dubbed if starring in a Mainland Chinese drama DX But there was actually ONE drama he wasn’t dubbed, “Love Me If You Dare” 🙂
