I mean, it’s meant to demonstrate how difficult it is for the secretaries at that company. It’s also not totally out of the realm of possibility in real life. Speaking from experience, working in South Korea is grueling, especially if you’re not fortunate enough to have a somewhat decent boss. It’s why the suicide rate among office workers is so high in Korea.
Yeah, unfortunately, that’s the work environment for many people 😔 and I know what Show is pushing for. But at the same time I don’t think Show takes itself that seriously either? Their use of the TOD also seems to be a lighthearted jab at one of the industry’s biggest tropes. Which is perfectly fine with me! I L-O-V-E this drama with its fun silliness!

Honestly yes! Me too! I can’t get enough of them and they are very well shaping up to be my OTP of the year.
