I like this show. It strikes a good balance between comedy and tragedy, episodic arcs and long-term plot. The acting is good, the characters are interesting and sufficiently complex as to make me think they could be real, and there is enough mystery and intrigue to hold my interest about the plot and the fates of these characters. In episode 4 in particular, I got a Signal vibe from this show (it might have something to do with the episodic investigations, the man-woman crime-fighting duo, and the fact that the background music is similar).

I cried a little bit at the end of episode 4 of Welcome 2 Life.

I loved the scene where Bo-na tells the two kindergarten girls that they’ll be arrested. Clearly the child of a prosecutor and a detective!
