genuinely i get all the women and don’t have a problem with them actually but that reporter….bae jong ok’s character serves a purpose but truly like the hATE i have for that reporter. and the men who are evil aren’t really written withthat same vigor. actually you know what they ARE and that’s the problem. that’s not what women want to see.

i think the show carries out what it’s set up to do VERY well. park mu jin is a hwang si mok type (sorta) and i adore hwang si mok. if kang han na was a better actress her char would be more compelling. the republican representative is EXACTLY who she claims to be. a hilary clinton type. that’s why i think she’s written pretty well. i don’t think the intentions are misogynist in nature, but men miss the mark with women.

i don’t think it’s too bad but we need motivation, explanation from that reporter. it’s so easy to see men as evil and i KEEP SAYING THIS but that’s NOT WHAT WE MEAN by a complex STRONG character lmao…who the hell wants to see the same tantrums men throw in a femme presenting body like that is awful oh my god

honestly i would much rather a show that doesnt hvae a FL if she is like this. sky castle is still one of the BEST examples like it’s so incredible (a woman headed the script team) but misty and witch’s court imo are some of the biggest failures
