Extraordinary You.

1. The sudden drop is quality in Episode 13. O_O What went wrong, Show? I think its got a lot to do with the editing – which felt rushed and choppy. Scenes felt incomplete, and this actually proved to be the case with the Dohwa-Juda scene, since the show dropped it in one half, and picked it up randomly in the second half.

2. I’ve said this earlier, but as good and swoon-worthy as Rowoon is, he still clearly needs experience doing the heavy scenes, and this ep proved it. Hye-yoon outclassed him by miles, it was so weird to see their serious scenes, because although Rowoon tried very hard, it wasn’t quite as natural as Hye-yoon’s seriousness.

3. As for Kyung, I frankly don’t like his character too much, can we not get more of Do-hwa and Ju-da instead? Do we really need this conflict with Kyung getting in the way, the writer as the cruel god dictating their world is enough.

4. Why are so many plot lines being introduced at the end? Juda’s confession to Dohwa, and Jin Michae’s love story being at the top of my list. It def seems like there is too much ground still left to cover, and four episodes aren’t enough. Possibly explains the choppy editing this episode.

5. Flower is somehow even more compelling than Secret lol.

6. I STILL love this show. 12 episodes of amazing-ness means I really enjoyed this episode too despite my complaints. I watched all of it without skipping and with genuine interest to see where it goes. Hope ep 14 is back to being awesome.

I agree. The editing was so choppy that many scenes just didn’t make sense. DO just standing and looking dazed whilst Haru and BK are fighting 😩😩😩 It’s like her opinion doesn’t matter let’s see which guy is going to push her to his side first and more often. Very disappointing 😩

RIGHT? At that moment I was so ready for her to either 1. roll her eyes and walk away from both of them or 2. roll her eyes, grab Haru’s hand and drag him away from Kyung – BUT NOPE. The damn scene just cut right there! Another example of the choppy editing – it ended weirdly, mid-tension as a cliff hanger – fine! But then open the next episode with that scene!!!!!

I was so angry how this scene was done. And yeah they left it in the middle of it and then acted like nothing happened. DO didn’t have anything to say about BK confession. She was like: I’m coming back to my weird Haru land and keep BK close enough but not too far away

Dan Oh… she lets herself be the object of the boys’ fights and it drives me crazy.

Ju Da and Do Hwa are my current OTP and it’s really to not see their relationship deepen in earlier episodes. As in Ju Da being aware sooner and fight for her own story.

Jinmichae’s lover was murdered the fastest way ever. The show can’t expect me to care for their story if it just throws a scene like that.

I’m not caught up with these eps yet. I sometimes wonder if the writer is meaning to be so realistic with Kyung and his anger issues?

I have always thought that is writernim’s intention with BK’s character all along. Maybe it’s because he was played by LJW who was just fresh off being cute puppy in WWW, that most of us refuse to believe BK is a jerk.

I’ve been thinking of him as a jerk from the very get go haha – but honestly its way too realistic. Or Lee Jae-wook is doing it too well, either way I’m a bit 🤬

I would almost like to see his character in a show that deals with how he heals from his childhood and behaviors.

I’ve known people from traumatic childhood’s that have anger issues. They have people that they love and can be loyal, caring and sensitive. But they also lose those people and burn those bridges because it can be like walking on eggshells around them, they can be a bit paranoid, and selfish.

At this point, I am just praying that writernim does not pull a “Lost” on us (i.e. they don’t really have answers to all these questions).

It’s based on a manhwa, and those are normally better. But I’m not amused.
