The second season was well and truly unnecessary. But, BUT, what I came to say though is that I loved the concept and existence of the clinic’s found/chosen family which was a salve for those who had been scarred, abandoned, abused and left unmoored. And, how this found family tried to pay forward the care, compassion and concern that they had each in turn received in their time of need. I loved this found family at the centre of this drama, and I’ve loved the reimagining of how a female physician - acted so gorgeously by Kim Hyanggi - can come to empower herself, shine brightly and be supported by those who have come to deeply love her. For these reasons, I was happy to overlook the tired tropes, numerous incongruities, the drawn out pacing and repetitious subplots. And, it didn’t hurt at all to hear KMJ’s glorious voice. Not one bit.😊
