If you are looking for a story about adults trying to express themselves in relationships in an adult manner, then TMTYLM is for you. It tackles many issues (disability, discrimination, dating, friendship, heartbreak, acceptance, and closure) in a very realistic ways. The series is shot like an indie movie; there are long pauses for the viewer to breathe and to feel what the FL is going through with the ML.

This series did not disappoint. It was well written, well acted, excellent direction and pace. Even though it could be considered slow and not enough time given to secondary character arcs, it made sense. The OTP story was believable beyond belief. We got all the characters get through their insecurities and getting closure in a reasonable, adult manner. Some may not like certain ambiguities in the story or ending, but I do not think it distracted from the journey. Excellent series from beginning to end.

Essay and Review:

TLDR: Well acted and exquisitely and artistically directed, but thematically inconsistent leading to false promises, false propositions and false endings. Frustratingly and disappointingly developed relative to its potential.

Essay on the show:

It is an exquisite art piece. A great melo and mellow drama.
For me, it reminds of me Il Mare (Korean Movie), When the Weather is Fine, and My Ajusshi.
