A charming drama with a flawed execution - it tries to balance rom-com elements and deeper introspective themes at the same time within a very short 6 episode timeframe which results in a sweet start and a rushed & undercooked end.

The Pros: the cinematography is beautiful and reflects the overarching gentle, sweet and soft tone. The rom-com aspects are done well; the hijinks of exes meeting again after years comes with hilarity in the form of petty jealous & denial driven hijinks and I think the great chemistry of the leads provides a good foundation for the drama to build on. OST is also ✨ and Steve Noh is a sweet revelation here.

The Cons: narratively a bit lacking; it provides great food for thought on relationships & breakups and therefore I think is objectively good in a more analytical medium point of view BUT from an entertainment point of view you're more likely to find yourself disappointed or at least left scratching your head a bit at the end. It starts great, gets muddled and then halfheartedly rushes to an ending whilst underutilising supporting characters - especially the SML - and certain subplots.

Overall the short run time, actors and production value somewhat even out the narrative bumps - so I'd say watch if you want a cute little filler drama but don't go in expecting a solid, satisfying rom-com.

I actually really enjoyed this drama ... until maybe the last episodes. I think the leads had great chemistry and this drama explored some interesting themes about relationships/breakups/different perspectives.

I feel like the last episode suddenly comes in with a message/theme that I felt didn't quite match with the previous 5 episodes. If there was more time, i could see how they'd get to that ending but not with the shorter episode count.

It's very inoffensive. Fun to watch, some of the themes might strike a chord (! sorry about the pun, my other option of a word to use was 'resonate'!) But its more likely to be an easily forgettable watch. Much better than ST1 though.

I like mini dramas and the soundtrack worked with the story.

I had some flashbacks to my frustrations with Something in the rain with some the issues in the main relationship but not enough to be put off the story. It was good to see a drama where the second lead got the message and got over their one sided love.

On the whole it was an enjoyable watch.
