Day 18: A Movie that Disappointed You the Most.
Hmmm…that would mean I would have to have had certain expectations to begin with; this is becoming less and less the case nowadays, lol.
I won’t say I was disappointed, but after watching Ophelia (2018), based on the eponymous novel by Lisa Klein, I couldn’t help but feel that the story was lifeless. It’s been a while since I read the book, but I do have the feeling that the latter told a richer and more complex story than what was portrayed on screen. Lifeless is all I can say. Sorry to those who might have liked it. I will say that the soundtrack is good. I’ve shared a couple of songs on my fan wall in the past.
