Someone please let me know when Seo Ji hoon gets to be an actual lead in a drama where he actually “gets the girl” (or even the boy…). And Mama Fairy doesn’t count.
1) Matching Boys’ Archery: Doesn’t get the boy
2)Flower Crew: gave the girl the piggyback first, a sure trope for the OTP, but no. Ends up with nothing. She didn’t deserve him anyway.
3)Meow: the Secret Boy: sticks with her thru thick and thin. She ends up with the cat. (Ew) She didn’t deserve him anyway.
4)Mama Fairy: Ok, he ends up being her husband, but the tease all the way thru was the other guy, so fans were really mad so does that even count?
5) Latest one, Men Are Men. Once again, he loves her and sticks by her, but she ends up with the other guy. She didn’t think she deserved him anyway. TBH, I haven’t watched the last episode yet, but I did see a photo of a wedding gown on said female, in a wedding. We’ll see.
Please, you’re old enough now to be a lead who gets the girl, or boy, I don’t really care which.
I was fine with Flower Crew but I also knew who the endgame was from the beginning. Seo Ji Hoon has a ton of charisma and I agree he should be a first lead.
