Have I told you how much I love Record of Youth, lately? No? And then they had to have Seo Hyun Jin do a cameo. I’m dead. TOL/RDYK feels I’m getting. Show is hitting all my emotional beats.

Something like that. Her character was older than Yoo Yeon Seok’s character.

I agree, and like you am totally enjoying this show. The family relationships are very interesting and I’m curious what they are doing with the stories.
But mostly I loved how his character in the show really shined. HAH!!!

I’m glad someone else is enjoying this! I love Brahms too, but the characters here are so much richer. Everyone has an angle they’re playing. Love the complexity of it all.

I’m also loving Record of Youth, although I can’t quite put my finger on why because I feel a certain amount of discontent as well. I like the writing, the witty banter between the leads, the characters and complex family backstories, I even like the second male lead.

I LOVED Seo Hyun Jin in her cameo. Yes, please!

This may sound strange, but I still don’t feel much chemistry between the two leads. I know both are good actors. I feel the writing is good. Maybe the editing is off? It just feels like we get snippets of them being cute together, but I don’t feel it strung together well. I don’t know, maybe I’m just being picky.

I think the reason I stay with it is Park Bo Gum. Man, that man has magnetism.
